TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4

July 01 to 05,2024

On the first day we reach the school by 9.30 am.Aftter signing the register we went to staff room.second period I went to 8B and gave them whole class remedial teaching.after lunch on the 5th period our general education teacher Meenu miss came for observation and I teach the topic DIFFERENT KINDS OF PLASTIDS AND ITS FUNCTION. After watching the class teacher gave me valuable suggestions. After signing the register we left the school by 4.00pm.

On the second day we reach the school by 9.30. After signing the register we went to the staff room. Fourth period I went to 8B and teach them a topic ANIMAL CELL AND ITS PARTS. After lunch on 6th period there was class in 9B.7th period I went to 8B and take group remedial teaching and cleared their doubts on that particular topic. After signing the register we left the school by 4.00pm.

On the third day we reach the school by 9.30 am. After signing the register we went to staff room. Second period I went to 9B and teach them a topic. Fourth period I went to 8B and done individual remedial teaching to a student who had doubt on a particular topic. After lunch on 5th period there was a special class conducted to 9th standard students related to gender. The class was taken by a psycho social Councillor. I went to 8B and teach them a topic DIFFERENT KINDS OF CELLS AND TISSUES.After signing the register we left the school by 4.00pm.

On the fourth day we reach the school by 9.30 am. After signing the register we went to staff 4oom.Since today SFI announced educational strike,there was no class for the school.They sent the students back. We teacher trainees stay back in the staffroom with teachers and did our lesson plan related works.

On the fifth day we teach the school by 9.00am. After signing the register we went to staff room.Today due to Vaikkom Muhammad basheers 30th death anniversary school conducted a special programme to remember the writings of the great legend.The programme started at 10.am and Head master Shiba sir delivered wcome speech.PTA president did felicitation.The inauguration was done by Asha ma'am,assistant professor in malayalam in nilamel college.she conducted a detailed class about Basheers life and his writings. The class ended at 1.00pm.After lunch on 5th period I went to 8B and reach them a topic SIGNIFICANCE OF CELL DIFFERENCIATION.Then 6th period I teach a topic THE PECULIARITIES OF STEMCELLS AND ITS IMPORTANCE After signing the register we left the school by 4.00pm.

CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The students of 8th standard were taught the topics DIFFERENT KINDS OF PLASTIDS AND ITS FUNCTION,ANIMAL CELL,DIFFERENT KINDS OF CELLS AND TISSUES, SIGNIFICANCE OF CELL DIFFERENCIATION AND THE PECULIARITIES OF STEMCELLS AND ITS IMPORTANCE. Teaching aids were used appropriately based in the topic. Follow up works like assignment and flow chart preparation were given. The reflective journal were also done this week.

Action plan implementation started in this week and conducted different activities daily.

OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE

The students were given teaching manual based activity oriented class room experience. The topics covered in 8B are DIFFERENT KINDS OF PLASTIDS AND ITS FUNCTION,ANIMAL CELL,DIFFERENCT KINDS OF CELLS AND FUNCTIONS, SIGNIFICANCE OF CELL DIFFERENCIATION AND THE PECULIARITIES OF STEMCELLS AND ITS IMPORTANCE.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Class conducted on the topic gender by psycho social Councillor. The class was given to 9B students.

Vaikkom Muhammad basheers death anniversary and pathummayide aaadu texts 80th year was celebrated in the school.
