TEACHING PRACTICE SECOND PHASE:WEEK 2

WEEK 2 FROM 18:06:2024 TO 22:06:2024
           Since its a public holiday there was no class on 17th monday.On the 1st day we reached the college by 9:30 AM .after signing the register we went to staff room .first period I got substitution of 9B and teach the topic 'enzymes and hormones function and examples'. Second period I got a substitution in 8B and teach them a topic 'cell theory' Again Third period I got substitution in 8B. After lunch 5th and 6th period was free for me and I did my lesson plan related works. On 7th period I got a substitution on 9B.After signing the register we leave the school by 4.00pm.
             On 2nd day we reach the school by 9:30 AM after signing the resister we went to the staff room. There was a special assembly contacted by 9B students. HM announced that this week is celebrated as vayanavaram and there was Special programs related to vayanavram. First period I got substitution on 8B and teach them a topic 'functions of cell'. Third period I went 8B for substitution and teach them a topic 'plant cell organelles features and functions' and find out some difficulties on the topic during the formative evaluation phase. After lunch on 6th period I went to 8A for substitution and gave them some activities related to lesson. After signing the register we leave the school by 4 PM
            On the 3rd day we reach the school by 9:30 AM. After signing the register we went to staff from. As part of international yoga day school arranged some programs related to yoga. As part of school NSS unit they conducted special yoga awareness class and teach some Aasans to students. On 4th the period I went to 9B and teach them a topic 'tranfer of substances into cytoplasm in different organisms.After lunch we did our lesson paln related works and leave the school by 4.00pm
             On the forth day we reach the school by 9:30 AM. After signing the register we went to staff room. Our physical education sir came for observation on 4th period and I took class on 8B On the topic 'macronutrients and micronutrients'. Sir observed the class and gave us valuable suggestions. After lunch I got substitution on 8B and teach them a topic 'protoplasm and cytoplasm'.We signed the register and leave the school by 4.00pm.
          On fifth day i took leave since i has K tet exam.

CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

in this week the students of 8th standard were taught the chapter lifes mysteries in little chamber and cover the topics 'cell theory,functions of cell,plant cell organelle features and functions and protoplasm and cytoplasm.Then the students in 9th standard were taught the chapter to life process and covered the topics enzymes and hormones functions and examples and tranfer of substances into cytoplasm in different organisms.
The reflective journal of this week was also completed. 

OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE 
         The students of class 8th and 9th standard were given teaching manual orientd activity based classroom experience.four teaching manual of class 8 and two teaching manual of class 9 were complete effectively.The topics covered in class 8 are lifes mysteries in little chamber and covere the topics cell theory,functions of cell,plant cell organelle features and functions and protoplasm and cytoplasm.The topics covered in 9th standard was enzymes and hormones functions and examples and transfer of substances into cytoplasm in different organisms.evaluation was made by asking questions from the topics.Students were given various follow up work like assignments and picture album making

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Vayanavram week celebrated by 10B students.They conducted a special assembly and special pledge was delivered by them.They made posters related to vayanavaram.
Yoga day was celebrated on school.They practice some asanas related to yoga.

WEEKEND REFLECTION MEETING

We the sabarigiri college natural science department conducted a weekly meeting under the guidance of Sreedevi miss.The meeting started at 7.30 pm on Saturday and ends at 8.00pm.In this meeting teacher asks us to share our first week experiences and every students share their experiences.Also teacher asks about the teaching manual and associated works.Helps us how to write blog effectively.

We the sabarigiri collegeof education ,natural science department conducted a weekly meeting under the guidance of sreedevi miss based on our first week of secong phase teaching practice .Principal was also a part of the meeting.The meeting started at 5.00pm and ends at 5.30 pm.In this meeting teacher ask us to share our first week school experience.Then teacher ask about the lesson plan and related works.Gave us instruction to prepare diagnostic test question.
