TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 9: MONDAY TO FRIDAY: 04.12.2023 -08.12.2023

REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

On the first day we reached the school at sharp 9.30am and there was a morning assembly conducted by 8B students.Today based on the Arabic day school conducted Arabic assembly.News,prayer,quiz etc was delivered in Arabic language.school Parliament election was scheduled today and due to that there were no classes for first 2 periods. We teacher trainees also participated in the programme.Then third  period I went to 8B and teach them a topic 'specific criteria for classification.Then on lunch time we went to serve food.fifth period I went to 9B and teach them a topic 'formation and components of sweat'.Sixth period I went to 8B and presented innovative work to them.students were very interesting in the class.After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

In the second day we reach the school at sharp 9.30 am.There was assembly for students conducted by 8A .The assembly was interesting with quiz session where winners are gifted with some gifts.School arranged a eye testing campaign and several students with visual problems participated in the free trial.So there were no classes for the first two hours.third period I went yo 9B and teach them a topic 'external structure of kidney'.and fourth period I went to 8B and teach them a topic 'taxonomic key and dichotomous key'.fifth period I went yo 8B for substitution.After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

In the third day due to SFI strike there were no class in school and we teacher trainees reached the school and did the works related to teaching practice. 

In the fourth day we reach the school at 9.30am.On the first period I went to 9B since all topics was completed I conducted achievement test on the class.The chapter selected was 'Breathing for energy'.Then 3rd period I went yo 9B for substitution class.after lunch 6th anf 7th period  I went to 9B for substitution. After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

On the fifth day we reached the school at 9.30am.After signing the register we went to staff room.since the 10th std students went for study tour most of the teachers were absent and we got more substitution today.In the first period I went to 8B for substitution.second and third period I went to 9B and gave them results of their achievement test.and conducted stotiometry in the class.after lunch on 6th period I went to 8B and collected feedback from the students.since this was the last day of teaching practice o took some phtos with my students.After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.
CURRICULAR AND CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The students of 9th standard were taught the  topics 'formtion and components of sweat' and external structure of kidney'and students of 8B were taught the topics 'specific criteria for classification and taxonomic key and dichotomous key.'Teaching aids were used appropriately based on the topic taught.follow up works like assignment  and still model preparation  are given.The reflective journal were also done this week.

OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE
The students are given teaching manual based activity oriented class room experience. The topic covered in 9B is' formtion and components of sweat' and external structure of kidney' and students of 8B were taught the topic' '
specific criteria for classification and taxonomic key and dichotomous key'

TEACHING PRACTICE FIRST PHASE - WEEK 1 September 20,2023               TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 1: WEDNESDAY TO SATURDAY:20.09.2023 TO 23.09.2023             INTRODUCTION Our first phase of teaching practice is at H.S.S Thadikkadu,from 20.09.2023. WEEKEND REFLECTION MEETING

We the sabarigiri college natural science department conducted a weekly meeting under the guidance of Sreedevi miss.The meeting started at 7.30 pm on Saturday and ends at 8.00pm.In this meeting teacher asks us to share our first week experiences and every students share their experiences.Also teacher asks about the teaching manual and associated works.Helps us how to write blog effectively.

We the sabarigiri collegeof education ,natural science department conducted a weekly meeting under the guidance of sreedevi miss based on our first week of secong phase teaching practice .Principal was also a part of the meeting.The meeting started at 5.00pm and ends at 5.30 pm.In this meeting teacher ask us to share our first week school experience.Then teacher ask about the lesson plan and related works.Gave us instruction to prepare diagnostic test question.
