TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 8: MONDAY TO FRIDAY: 27.11.2023 -01.12.2023

REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

On the first day we reached the school at sharp 9.30am and there was a morning assembly conducted by 9A students.Today three of our juniors joined in our school for induction programme. Today first hour I went to 9B and our Sreedevi teacher came for observation.I took the topic 'excretory organs and its functions' and teacher gave me valuable feedbacks. Then second period I went to 8B and done revision for the previous chapter.Then third period our teacher corrected our lesson plan and related works. Then on lunch time we went to serve food.fifth period there was no class for me so I did my lesson plan related works.Sixth period I went to 8B for substitution.After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

In the second day due to teachers cluster meeting we don't have class at school.

In the third day we reach the school at sharp 9.30 am.There was assembly for students conducted by 8A .The assembly was interesting with quiz session where winners are gifted with some gifts.First period I went to 8B and teach them a topic 'common basis for classification'.third period there was substitution class for 8B.Then on fourth period there was a noon meal programme arranged by school and provides payasam for all students,teachers and non teaching staff.We the teaching trainees also participated in serving payasam.Then I had my lunch .After lunch on 5th period we had conducted our consentization programme on the topic 'violence against women'.The programme was inaugurated by respected HM and the introductory part was delivered by Sheeba teacher and the topic was delivered by me and Ameena.Thoiba teacher conclude the programme.Last hour was free and I did my lesson plan related works.After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

In the fourth day we reach the school at 9.30am.On the first period I went to 8B .Then second period I went to 9B for substitution and after interval on the third period I went to 9B for substitution class.Fourth period was free and I did my lesson plan related works. We had our lunch and after lunch on 5th period I went to 9B and teach them a topic 'formation of ammonia and urea and role of liver in excretion' and our general subject teacher Meenu miss came for observation and gave me valuable feedbacks. 7th period I went to 9 B for substitution.After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

On the fifth day we reached the school at 9.30am.After signing the register we went to staff room.In the first period I went to 8B and teach them a topic 'criteria used for classifying different organisms''and second period I went to 9B for substitution class.After that we had our lunch.Then fifth period I went to 9B and teach then a topic for substitution and sixth period I went to 8B for substitution.After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

CURRICULAR AND CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The students of 9th standard were taught the topics 'excretory organs and its functions and formation of ammonia and urea and role of liver in excretion'and students of 8B were taught the topics 'common basis for classification and criteria used for classifying different organisms 'Teaching aids were used appropriately based on the topic taught.follow up works like assignment preparation are given.The reflective journal were also done this week.

OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE

The students are given teaching manual based activity oriented class room experience. The topic covered in 9B isexcretory organs and its functions and formation of ammonia and urea and role of liver in excretion' and students of 8B were taught the topic' 'common basis for classification and criteria used for classifying different organisms '

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

NOON MEAL PROGRAMME

School arrange a special noon meal programme and provides payasam to students, teaching and non teaching staff.

CONSENTIZATION PROGRAMME

we teacher trainees arranged a conscentization programme on the topic violence against women. The programme was inaugurated by respected HM and the introductory part was delivered by Sheeba teacher and the topic was delivered by me and Ameena.Thoiba teacher conclude the programme.

Systematic,cutouts are legible and neat.

Good explanation and good pupil participation.Explanations are done with the learner participation

Negatives: could be asked to write the note of each activity once that particular activity is over.
