Preparation phase

Community Living camp is planned to conducted in our college. Camp provides students with a community of caring adults, who nurture experiential education that results in self-respect and appreciation for human value. The outcome brings in self-identity, self-worth, self-esteem, leadership, and self-respect build personal competencies. These personal competencies are reflected in the four "C's" of the camp community: compassion,contribution,commitment and character and these qualities will help to build a successful nation and a civil society. The teacher students have a sense of community, develop intergenerational relationships, and learn through of our seven day community living camp a discussion session was conducted through Google meet on 5th December at 8 pm.In the meeting general discussion was held about the date and programmes of the camp.On 7th December teachers asked us to select a name for our camp and through various opinions and polling the name ദ്യുതി was selected for the camp.On 9th December some of our students went to college for further discussion and a final draft of the camp was prepared.11th 12th and 13 th was the days were we went to college for arranging all necesssaries for camp because our teaching practice has ended only on 8th December. During these days we cleaned the sadyalayam college and hostel for stay.Decorated the general hall for programmes . Programme committee,food commitee and cleaning committee was selected for each day and by 13 th evening all things were set for the camp.These days gave us the confidence in preparing for a programme and interpersonal helping.
