TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 7: MONDAY TO FRIDAY: 20.11.2023 -24.11.2023

REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

On the first day we reached the school at sharp 9.30am and there was a morning assembly conducted by 9A students.The assembly was special today.Because the certificate distribution for the students who participated in school science fair and arts Festival was conducted in the assembly.on the absence of HM,Haripriya teacher handover the certificates. Then second period I went to 8B and teach them a topic 'Advantages of group agricultural activities and related obstacles and measures to overvome'.Then third period period I went to 9B for substitution. Then on lunch time we went to serve food.fifth period there was no class for me so I did my lesson plan related works.Sixth period I went to 8B for substitution.After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

In the second day we reached the school at 9.30am and since it was 'world television day' we planned to conduct our school based activity on this special day. First period I went to 9B and teach them a topic 'mode of respiration in different organisms. Second period was free for me and I done my lesson plan related activities. Third period I went to 9B for substitution class.fourth period I went to 8B for substitution class.Then we had our lunch.After Lunch we went to conduct the school based activity in 9th standard with the permission of our HM.We gave a poster making activity to students on the theme'back to television.Priya Rani teacher inaugurated the function and speaks a few words about the importance of television.Introduction part was delivered by Ameena and conclusion and vote of thanks was the duty assigned to me.Syam sir and priya teacher distributed the prize to winners .After signing the register we leave the school at 4.00pm.

In the third day we reach the school at sharp 9.30 am.There was assembly for students conducted by 8A .The assembly was interesting with quiz session where winners are gifted with some gifts.First period I went to 8B for substitution and gave some activities to students.third period there was substitution class for 8B.Then I had my lunch and went to 9B for substitution class on sixth period.Last hour was free and I did my lesson plan related works.After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

In the fourth day we reach the school at 9.30am.On the first period I went to 8B and teach them a topic 'possibilitiesto overcome crises in agricultural field'.Then second period I went to 9B for substitution and after interval on the third period I went to 9B for substitution class.Fourth period was free and I did my lesson plan related works. We had our lunch and after lunch on 5th period I went to 8B for substitution class.6th and 7th period I went to 9 B for substitution.After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.
On the fifth day we reached the school at 9.30am.After signing the register we went to staff room.In the first period I went to 9B and teach them a topic 'mechanism of exchange of gases in plants'and second period I went to 8B for substitution class.After that we had our lunch.Then fifth period I went to 9B and teach then a topic 'Different type of excretory products and the process of excretion'and sixth period I went to 8B for substitution.After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

CURRICULAR AND CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The students of 9th standard were taught the topics 'mode of respiration in different organisms and mechanism of exchange of gases in plants and different type of excretory products and process of respiration'and students of 8B were taught the topics 'Advantages of group agricultural activities and related obstacles and measures to overcome and possibilities to overcome crises in agricultural sector'Teaching aids were used appropriately based on the topic taught.follow up works like assignment preparation are given.The reflective journal were also done this week.

OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE
The students are given teaching manual based activity oriented class room experience. The topic covered in 9B is 'mode of respiration in different organisms and mechanism of exchange of gases in plants different type of excretory products and process of excretion.and students of 8B were taught the topic' 'Advantages of group agricultural activities and related obstacles and measures to overcome and possibilities to overcome crises in agricultural sector' 

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
School based activity
We the teacher trainees conducted a school based activity on 21st November which was world television day.
It is also celebrated with the aim of improving broadcasting, which eventually brings a better television viewing experience. In December 1996, the United Nations General Assembly declared November 21 to be observed as World Television Day because of its significant impact in bringing attention to concerning issues. students were instructed to prepare a poster on the topic 'back to television' and Sivani from 9A got first prize and Anjana from 9A got second prize,Salmath from 9B got third prize and Bijith from 9A got fourth prize.Thr programme was inaugurated by priya teacher and prize distribution was carried out by Priya teacher and Syam Sir.

WEEKEND REFLECTION MEETING

We the sabarigiri college natural science department conducted a weekly meeting under the guidance of Sreedevi miss.The meeting started at 7.30 pm on Saturday and ends at 8.00pm.In this meeting teacher asks us to share our first week experiences and every students share their experiences.Also teacher asks about the teaching manual and associated works.Helps us how to write blog effectively.

We the sabarigiri collegeof education ,natural science department conducted a weekly meeting under the guidance of sreedevi miss based on our first week of secong phase teaching practice .Principal was also a part of the meeting.The meeting started at 5.00pm and ends at 5.30 pm.In this meeting teacher ask us to share our first week school experience.Then teacher ask about the lesson plan and related works.Gave us instruction to prepare diagnostic test question.
