TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 6: MONDAY TO FRIDAY: 13.11.2023 -17.11.2023

REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

On the first day we reached the school at sharp 9.30am and there was a morning assembly conducted by 9A students.On the first day I went to 9B and teach them a topic 'Types of fermentation. Then second period I went to 8B and teach them a topic 'new agricultural farming techniques'.Then third period period I went to 9B for substitution. Then on lunch time we went to serve food.fifth period there was no class for me so I did my lesson plan related works.Then we went to lunch again there was unit test for students.Sixth period I went to 8B for substitution and gave them group remedial teaching and the students understand the topic very well.After signing the register we left the college at 4.00pm.

In the second day we reached the school at 9.30am and since it was children's day the 9B students,which was my concerned class prepared some posters related to children's day. First period I went to 8B and teach them a topic 'indigenous varieties and its importance. Second period was free for me and I done my lesson plan related activities.  Third period I went to 9B for substitution class.fourth period I went to 8B for substitution class.Then we had our lunch.After Lunch I went to 8B for substitution class ie on fifth period. sixth and seventh period I got time for completing my record works.After signing the register we leave the school at 4.00pm.

In the third day we reach the school at sharp 9.30 am.There was assembly for students conducted by 8A .The assembly was interesting with quiz session where boys and girls get different chances.First period I went to 9B and teach them a topic 'Respiratory disorders'.third period there was substitutionclass for 8B.Then I had my lunch and went to 9B for substitution class on sixth period.Last hour was free and I did my lesson plan related works.After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

In the fourth day we reach the school at 9.30am.On the first period I went to 8B and teach them a topic 'scientific method of agricultural practices'.Then second period I went to 9B and teach them a topic 'vital capacity and tidal volume' and after interval on the third period I went to 9B for substitution class.Fourth period was free and I did my lesson plan related works. We had our lunch and after lunch on 5th period I went to 8B for substitution class.6th and 7th period I wnt to 9 B for substitution.After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

On the fifth day we reached the school at 9.3p am.After signing the register we went to staff room.In the first period I went to 9B and teach them a topic 'measurement of vital capacity and second period I went to 8B for substitution class.After that there was a MLA visit in our school.Mr.Supal,respected MLA visited our college to discuss about the charity related activities to teachers.Whole teachers incudion higher secondary teachers participated in the meeting.After that we had our lunch.Then 5th and 6th period there was a science  quiz session arranged in our school.The quiz was conducted in IT LAB on the leadership of Priya Rani teacher and Thoiba teacher.more than 25 student participated in the quiz and after finishing the first round only 10 students was short listed.Sneha from 9A got First prize and Harinarayanan from 8B got second prize.After signing the register we left the school.

CURRICULAR AND CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The students of 9th standard were taught the  topics 'types of fermentation,respiratory disorders,vital capacity and tidal volume and vital capacity and its measurement.'and students of 8B were taught the topics new agricultural farming techniques, indigenous varieties and its importance and scientific method of agricultural practices.Teaching aids were used appropriately based on the topic taught.follow up works like assignment and picture album preparation are given.The reflective journal were also done this week.

OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE
The students are given teaching manual based activity oriented class room experience. The topic covered in 9B is ' 'types of fermentation,respiratory disorders,vital capacity and tidal volume and vital capacity and its measurement.' students of 8B were taught the topic'new agricultural farming techniques, indigenous varieties and its importance and scientific method of agricultural practices.

EXTRA CURRICULAR  ACTIVITIES
The science quiz conducted on 17.11.2023 on school IT LAB.Sneha s sajeev from 9A got First prize and Harinarayanan  from 8B got second prize.

WEEKEND REFLECTION MEETING

We the sabarigiri college natural science department conducted a weekly meeting under the guidance of Sreedevi miss.The meeting started at 7.30 pm on Saturday and ends at 8.00pm.In this meeting teacher asks us to share our first week experiences and every students share their experiences.Also teacher asks about the teaching manual and associated works.Helps us how to write blog effectively.

WEEKEND REFLECTION:WEEK 1

We the sabarigiri collegeof education ,natural science department conducted a weekly meeting under the guidance of sreedevi miss based on our first week of secong phase teaching practice .Principal was also a part of the meeting.The meeting started at 5.00pm and ends at 5.30 pm.In this meeting teacher ask us to share our first week school experience.Then teacher ask about the lesson plan and related works.Gave us instruction to prepare diagnostic test question.
