TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 3: MONDAY TO FRIDAY: 02.10.2023 -06.10.2023

REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

We the teacher trainees alloted to H.S.S Thadikkadu reached the school right at 9.30am everyday. Then signed our register and went to staffroom,were our seat was alloted.
On the first day there was no class because it is a public holiday.

In the second day we reached the school at 9.30am and in the first period I went to 9B and teach them a topic'cellular respiration - glycolysis phase'.In the 3rd and 4th period there was substitution in 8B.In the 6th period  I went to substitution for 9 B.After signing the register we leave the school at 4.00pm.

In the third day there was assembly for students conducted by 8A and they conducted a interesting quiz section in between the assembly.I had no class today so went to 8B at 2nd period and 9B at 6th period for substitution.After signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

In the fourth day we reach the school at sharp 9.30 and after signing the register we went to the staffroom.First period I went to 8A for substitution.Afternoon session there was no class and students went for practice for their arts day.Spent some time with them and observed their activities.after signing the register we left the school at 4.00pm.

In the fifth day morning there was morning assembly conducted by 10th B students.Todays assbly is special because all students take oath to clean the environment and prevent mosquitoes from the school campus.After that there was a IT quiz competition conducted on the basis of school youthfestival.More than 30 students participated in the quiz and Ameen from 9B got first prize. In the afternoon session there was cleaning programme arranged by the school including students and teachers everyone participated in the cleaning programme.At 4.00pm after sign the register we leave the school.

CURRICULAR AND CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The students of 9th standard were taught the  topics 'cellular respiration - glycolysis phase'.Teaching aids were used appropriately based on the topic taught.follow up works like assignment are given.The reflective journal were also done this week.

OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE
The students are given teaching manual based activity oriented class room experience. The topic covered in 9B is 'cellular respiration - glycolysis phase'.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The school had conducted a IT quiz according to the school youthfestival.The quiz was conducted under the leadership of Priya Rani teacher.The quiz programme takes place in IT LAB and total 30 students participated in the quiz competition.Total 25 questions are provided and the answers are attached with accompanying slide.Ameen Muhammed from 9B worn the first prize.

WEEKEND REFLECTION MEETING

We the sabarigiri college natural science department conducted a weekly meeting under the guidance of Sreedevi miss.The meeting started at 7.30 pm on Saturday and ends at 8.00pm.In this meeting teacher asks us to share our first week experiences and every students share their experiences.Also teacher asks about the teaching manual and associated works.Helps us how to write blog effectively.

We the sabarigiri collegeof education ,natural science department conducted a weekly meeting under the guidance of sreedevi miss based on our first week of secong phase teaching practice .Principal was also a part of the meeting.The meeting started at 5.00pm and ends at 5.30 pm.In this meeting teacher ask us to share our first week school experience.Then teacher ask about the lesson plan and related works.Gave us instruction to prepare diagnostic test question.
