TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 2: MONDAY TO FRIDAY: 25.09.2023 - 29.09.2023

REFLECTION ON SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

We the teacher trainees alloted to H.S.S Thadikkadu reached the school right at 9.30am everyday. Then signed our register and went to staffroom,were our seat was alloted.
On the first day,first period I went to 9B and teach them a topic 'process of gaseous exchange in alveoli' . Third period I wnt to 8B and teach them a topic,'consequences of unscientific chemical fertilizer application'Second period and 5th period I got substitution in 9B and gave some activities to students.we leave the school at 4.00pm.
In the second day we reached the school at 9.30am and third period I went to 8B and teach them a topic 'modern technologies to control pest'. In afternoon based on eid-milad celebration there was special lunch for students.The whole programme was arranged by school PTA.after signing the register we leave the school at 4.00pm.
In the third day there was assembly for students conducted by 8B and they read the whole message and news in hindi.I had no class today so went to 8B at 5th period and 9B at 7th period for substitution.at 4.
In the fourth day there was no class because its a public holiday.
In the fifth day I had a class on 9B and covered a topic 'peculiarities of RBC and structure of haemoglobin' . In the afternoon session there was practice for the students for arts day.at 4.00pm after sign the register we leave the school.
In the sixth day there was class with same time table of thursday.I had a class on 9B and took a topic 'role of haemoglobin in the transport of oxygen. After Lunch break I went to 8B for substitution.At 4.00pm we sign the register and left the school.

CURRICULAR AND CO CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
In this week the 8th standard students were taught by using teaching manual from their part one basic science text book.In 8th standard the topics covered are 'consequences of unscientific chemical fertilizer application' and 'modern technologies to control pest'.the students of 9th standard were taught the  topics 'process of gaseous exchange in alveoli ','peculiarities of rbc and structure of haemoglobin' and 'role of haemoglobin in the transport of oxygen'.Teaching aids such as cutouts,charts,slides and videos were used appropriately based on the topic taught.follow up works like poster preparation and assignment are given.The reflective journal were also done this week.

OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE
The students of 9B and 8B are given teaching manual based activity oriented class room experience. Three teaching manual of class 9 and two teaching manual of class 8 were completed.The topics covered in 8B was'consequences of unscientific chemical fertilizer applications and 'modern technologies to control pest'.The topics covered in 9B was 'process of gaseous exchange in alveoli,peculiarities of rbc and structure of haemoglobin' and role of haemoglobin in the transport of oxygen.

TEACHING PRACTICE FIRST PHASE - WEEK 1 September 20,2023               TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 1: WEDNESDAY TO SATURDAY:20.09.2023 TO 23.09.2023             INTRODUCTION Our first phase of teaching practice is at H.S.S Thadikkadu,from 20.09.2023. The principal of sabarigiri college of education ,Dr Meera Raj ma'am alloted two students to the school.Ameena fathima and me from natural science.Our department head Sreedevi miss provided us with all necessary instructions,guidance and support for completing our teaching manual,selective activities for models for teaching and preparing teaching aids for teaching practice. WEEKEND REFLECTION MEETING

We the sabarigiri college natural science department conducted a weekly meeting under the guidance of Sreedevi miss.The meeting started at 7.30 pm on Saturday and ends at 8.00pm.In this meeting teacher asks us to share our first week experiences and every students share their experiences.Also teacher asks about the teaching manual and associated works.Helps us how to write blog effectively.

We the sabarigiri collegeof education ,natural science department conducted a weekly meeting under the guidance of sreedevi miss based on our first week of secong phase teaching practice .Principal was also a part of the meeting.The meeting started at 5.00pm and ends at 5.30 pm.In this meeting teacher ask us to share our first week school experience.Then teacher ask about the lesson plan and related works.Gave us instruction to prepare diagnostic test question.
