INNOVATIVE WORK REPORT  An innovative work in education can be defined as a new idea,device or method that encourages students to understand and remember what they have learned rather than rote memorization. Thus I designed an innovative work and a report which points out all the aspects of work.

INNOVATIVE WORK The biggest challenge any teacher faces is capturing the student's attention and putting across ideas in such a way that it stays with them long after they have left the classroom.Thereby, the use of innovative methods in the classroom has the potential to improve education.         Innovative work is defined as “The process of making changes to "something established" by introducing “something new”.It must be something that possess novelty and creativity. It helps the teacher to teach a lesson easily understandable. So, we can undoubtedly say that in educational field the role of innovative work is very useful and effective. As a part of B.Ed curriculum I designed an innovative work named "SPECIAL PLANT CELL PIZZA " based on the 8th standard biology chapter "life mysteriesin little chamber" on the content 'plant cell organelles features and functions '.This is an easy way to understand the content.  ...

Cognitive map  Cognitive Map (CM) is a teaching and learning strategy that establishes a bridge between how people learn knowledge and sensible learning. Students need to have sufficient foundation and a critical thinking about CM and the relations between different concepts. Cognitive Map promises to be useful in enhancing meaningful learning and students conceptual understanding. It helps meaningful learning in several ways. It is an activity that provides the student with an opportunity to organize, summarize, analyze and evaluate many different ideas. Thus, it promotes the development of critical thinking skills, which can then be used for other meaningful learning activities.
